What is a walk-through event?

A walk-through or "grazing-style" event refers to an event with limited space, and/or no dedicated time frame to hold all volunteers in one location to assemble kits at once. 

You can set up a walk-through event to last over the course of one or more days where volunteers can come and go packing a few kits at a time. 

We recommend planning for 50% participation during walk-through events.

Of that 50%, we recommend planning for 2-5 kits per person. 

See below some examples:

Event with 500 people

We would estimate 250 individuals participating.

 

With a goal of assembling 5 kits, you would need to order 1,200-1,300 kits.

Total Cost: $5,850

Event with 1000 people

We would estimate 500 individuals participating.

 

With goal of assembling 3 kits, then you would need to order 1,500 kits.

Total Cost: $6,750

Event with 2000 people

We would estimate 1,000 individuals participating.

 

With a goal of assembling 2 kits, then you would need to order 2,000 kits.

Total Cost: $9,000
